Sheikh Saniullah Farahmand, born in 1970 in Kunduz province, stands among Afghanistan’s most prominent religious scholars and influential social figures. His lifelong dedication to education, law, and community service has earned him wide respect across the nation. As the former Head of the Council of Ulema and Elders in Kunduz, Sheikh Farahmand made lasting contributions to Islamic scholarship, notably through his leadership in the Hadith Department, where he guided and mentored many students in Islamic sciences. In his current capacity as the Ambassador of Afghanistan to the Republic of Türkiye, Sheikh Saniullah Farahmand continues to serve his country with dignity and commitment—promoting diplomacy, fostering mutual understanding, and strengthening the bonds between Afghanistan and Türkiye.
