The Embassy of Afghanistan, as the political representation and executive body of Afghanistan’s foreign policy in the Republic of Türkiye, carries out important responsibilities and pursues the following objectives:

 

  • To maintain and strengthen the friendly relations and political cooperation between Afghanistan and the Republic of Türkiye, based on the mutual interests of both nations.

  • To foster economic and trade relations with the private sector and encourage Turkish investors to invest in Afghanistan.

  • To strive for the continuation and expansion of Türkiye’s assistance to Afghanistan in various fields.

  • To safeguard the interests of Afghan citizens residing in Türkiye or those who maintain trade, economic, or other forms of relations with the country.

  • To make every effort to provide necessary facilities and legal documentation, within the scope of the Embassy’s authority and responsibilities, for Afghans living in Türkiye.

 

The Embassy of Afghanistan in Ankara conducts all its activities and relations with the Republic of Türkiye in accordance with international conventions, agreements, and declarations to which both Afghanistan and Türkiye are parties, whether directly or indirectly. The Embassy remains fully committed to protecting and promoting the national interests of Afghanistan and the rights of Afghan citizens residing in Türkiye.
