Internship Opportunity
The Embassy of Afghanistan in Ankara offers internship opportunities for Afghan students currently studying at universities across Türkiye. This program provides students with valuable practical experience in areas such as administration, consular services, and diplomatic affairs.
Priority will be given to students who wish to complete internships as part of their academic curriculum, gain professional experience, and contribute to serving the Afghan community. All internship positions are voluntary and offered on a competitive basis. Applications are accepted throughout the year.
Who Can Apply?
Students enrolled in the following fields are encouraged to apply:
International Relations, Political Science, Human Rights, Public Relations, Commerce and Economics, Law, Information Technology (IT), History, Journalism, Media, Business Administration (BBA), Communication, and related disciplines.
Applicants must be enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program and have completed at least two years of study. Master’s students are also eligible to apply.
Responsibilities
Interns will assist the Embassy in a variety of tasks, including supporting the consular section, participating in cultural programs, and assisting in meetings and other official activities as required.
At the end of the internship, each intern will prepare a brief report on a designated topic related to their experience.
The internship program lasts 8 weeks and may be part-time or full-time depending on the Embassy’s needs. Extensions or shorter terms may be considered upon review.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a face-to-face or online interview.
During the evaluation process, academic performance, communication and language skills, as well as other professional or academic qualifications, will be taken into consideration.
Results will be communicated to applicants via email after the completion of each selection period. All required documents must be uploaded during the online application, and original copies must be presented at the interview.
