Applying for Birth Certificate
If you are an Afghan citizen residing in Türkiye and have been requested by the local authorities or other institutions to obtain a Birth Certificate, you can apply through the Consular Section of the Embassy of Afghanistan in Ankara.

Copy of the residence permit (ikamet) in Türkiye
For Children (Under 18 Years Old)
If the applicant is under the legal age of 18, the following additional documents are required:
a. Copies of both parents’ passports
b. Copy of the parents’ marriage certificate
Procedure
Upon arrival at the Embassy of Afghanistan in Ankara, the applicants will present their documents at the consular front desk.
The Embassy staff will review and verify all submitted documents and proofs of identity.
If all the required documents are complete, the process of preparing the Birth Certificate will begin immediately.
Once the certificate is prepared, it will be reviewed, signed, and issued to the applicants.
Fees
The service fee for a Birth Certificate is 15 USD
